Ronald Mutebi, MSc FST (MUK), BSc FST (MUK)

Ronald Mutebi is a passionate Ugandan Food Scientist based at Bugema University where he serves as a Lecturer of Food Science and Technology at the School of Agricultural Sciences in the Department of Nutrition, Food Science and Technology. He also serves as a Research Coordinator where he guides and supervises students undertaking research with an interest in food safety, post-harvest food handling, food processing and food security.

Richard Katongole, B.Com, FCCA

Richard Katongole is a seasoned finance professional with over 30 years of experience in financial management, budgeting, auditing, and policy advisory. A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA-UK) and a Certified Public Accountant (Uganda), he has held key roles in Uganda’s public sector, including as Assistant Commissioner of Accounts for the Uganda Police Force and Ministry of Finance.

His expertise spans government accounting, internal controls, financial reporting, and strategic planning, with a strong track record in team leadership and process improvement. Previously, he worked in the UK as a Senior Management Accountant and part-time lecturer. Richard holds a B.Com (Accounting) from Makerere University and is proficient in policy formulation, research, and stakeholder engagement.
